1.28(1967)[15] : New Opposition played at London Road Casino, Leicester.

1.27(1968)[16] : The Opposition played at Blaby Country Arms, London.
1.28(1972)[21] : Organises a gig at Bedford College. The audience that night consisted of just SIX people.
1.30(1981)[29] : 'Another One Bites The Dust' won the Favorite Single in the Pop/Rock category at the 8th annual American Music Awards staged at the ABC-TV Studios in Hollywood. (John attended there with Roger.)

Deaky Chronicles: added topics in 2003.

'Jewels' becomes the best seller: Queen Jewels, the brand-new compilation album released 28th January, sells very well. This week there was the feature program on TV. Our John was also introduced as one of the cool guys! (This album inclues John's "You're My Best Friend" and "Another One Bites The Dust").
