Like yours, we Japanese fans also got very excited about "the Sun" thing. Almost all of my guests were surprised and then glad to hear from our beloved John after a long time (maybe 3 or 4 years?). As for so-called his comments, as they're on the notorious tabloid after all, I think we should not judge them by pouncing on his words. But most of my guests seemed to think that his comments was reasonable. (We Japanese don't know Robbie Williams very much, so we have less feelings about him.) However, some of them missed John very much, reading his "I had retired" comments.
