I just want to say that I really love this site! Having entered the world in 1980, I was either not born yet or too young to consciously live through Queen in their heyday. I was turned on to them later after hearing Bohemian Rhapsody on the radio in the early '90's (thanks to Wayne's World). Queen caught on like wildfire in my life, and before too long I owned every album. As I researched the group more John quickly became my favorite member. I think he is extremely talented and very, very sexy. Thank you for the wonderful sight dedicated to John!

I always loved Queen, and I always will. Queen always was Freddy, Brian, Roger and John (in no particular order), it's not really the same without Freddy and it's definately not Queen without John.
It's a shame John did not participate in the "reunion" tour, I think I would have gone to see them, but when I saw John's not joining Brian & Roger I felt it was not right.
I will keep them in my heart forever, their music means so much to me.

初めましてAIRWOLFと言います。お聞きしたいことがあるのですが、BIGGLESのサウンドトラックでジョン・アンダーソンが歌ってる”Do You Want To Be A Hero”の歌詞はありますでしょうか？
昔、日曜洋画劇場でビグルスがやってた時にこの映画は気に入ってました。
まさかこの主題歌を歌ってた人がジョン・アンダーソンだとは知りませんでした。（YESのファンになってから、その後当時ビデオレンタルして出だしの曲聴いたときになんか聞いたことのある声だな〜〜と思ってました。）
偶然というのもありますね。
だいぶ前にザ・スクープという情報番組がありましたけどもその時に最初の出だしが流れてた曲が気に入ってて曲名も解りませんでした。
アンダーソン・ブラッフォード・ウェイクマン・ハウの”オーダー・オブ・ザ・ユニバース”曲だったんです。ＣＤ買って聴いたときにはこのアルバムに入ってたなんて知りませんでした。
もう嬉しくて何度もエンドレスで聞いてました。

My very first concert ever was 'Queen' in Brisbane, Australia in 1976. Thanks to my brother for buying me the ticket for my 14th birthday. Never got to see them again, but they were all just amazing and complemented each other beautifully. I have seen so many performers since and my memories of that night always stand out. John was and still is my favourite. Roxy

Great site! I enjoy seeing so many different ways of showing John that he is our favourite bassman. In particular, I love the gallery (so many pictures of the handsome John!) and short stories. I look forward to reading English translations of more of the stories on the Japanese page - unfortunately, my Japanese is limited to 'Teo Torriatte'!

I obviously don't agree that John deacon was the best player in the band. He had big shoes to fill with the likes of Roger, Brian, and especially FREDDIE! cause lets face it freddie's talents were unique and noone could ever replace him. Although, John did write some beautiful songs. I wish he would've particpated more like moving around and entertaining fans. I also don't like the fact that when he retired and freddie died he said (and i quote), " i'm glad it's all over" (Book: An Intimate Memoir- Freddie Mercury by Peter Freestone) I wish he would've kept the memory alive for his fans and the band. Even when they asked him to do the reunion he refused, so what is so great about that quality? And may i add he wasn't a very good looking guy. in fact my nickname for him is GEEK BEAST! Although i still like the guy- he is very nice

こんばんわ。中3で小学生のときからクイーンが1番好きです。
いや今までフレディが1番好きなんですよ、マッチョだし。
でも2番目は気が付けばベースだけじゃなく、キーボードとかやってる、（やらされてる？）
多彩な「彼」が大好きです。
昔は「彼」をベーコンと言う名だと信じてましたが、友人に言われ気付きました^^；
オレは楽器はベースが1番です。
だから「彼」も好きです。
